DAY 1: CHIANGMAI – CHIANG RAI (L)
Transfer clients from major Chiangmai hotels to the north, along one of the most scenic routes to Chiang Rai. En route, we will pay a visit at an elephant training camp to see the elephants at work (no ride included, optional service) before we continue north in direction of Thaton. Thai Set lunch en route at a local restaurant in Thaton. After lunch, we board long tail boats from nearby our lunch address for an exiting 4-hours long tailed boat ride from Thaton to Chiang Rai, where en route, we have planned stop along the way visit the local hill tribe village,built along the banks of the Maekok River. In the late afternoon, we arrive at the Chiang Rai boat landing from where it is only a short transfer to your chosen hotel. No dinner included in the package. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 2: CHIANG RAI (B, L)
American breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we depart your hotel for a full day tour around the most northern area of Thailand: we proveed to Chiang Sean for visiting the remains of an ancient city; the historical city dates back more than 700 years. Drive along the famous Maekhong River to the exact spot where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) meet, better known as “The Golden Triangle” we arrive at “Sob Ruak,” a small trading town right on the Myanmar border. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch continue to the Doi Mae Salong area, home of a variety of Hill tribe villages like the Akha, Samyak and Yao Pha Duea, where short stops can be made. A full day has come to an end and we return back to your chosen Chiang Rai hotel. No dinner included. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3: CHIANG RAI – CHIANGMAI (B,L)
American breakfast at hotel. Transfer from hotel to visit Aka and Yao hill tribes at Mae Chan, then return to Chiang Rai to visit city and temple. Lunch at Larn-Thong of (Dusit Island Resort). Transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for taking the flight TG …, bound for Chiangmai. Arrival at Chiangmai International Airport and transfer to the chosen Chiangmai Hotel � end of services.
